When Gina Jones made the decision to join her husband, Steve, on the road, she knew it would be a life-changing career move. However, as Gina shares with Dave Nemo and Lindsay Lawler during her TA Citizen Driver of the Year interview, she had no idea how her efforts within the trucking industry could make such a positive impact on others. Gina, who is a Captain on the ATA’s America’s Road Team, has discovered how trucking can make a difference in people’s lives on a number of levels. Gina was in the running for the TA Citizen Driver Award in 2023, and she was thrilled to earn the honor alongside Steve as team drivers in 2024.
