In this episode of the podcast, we highlight the inspirational story of Kari Rihm, the President and CEO of Rihm Family Companies. Following her husband’s death shortly after he was diagnosed with inoperable brain cancer in 2010, Kari answered the call to lead the company that had been started by the Rihm family in 1932. Under Kari’s guidance as the only 100% woman-owned Kenworth dealership in the U.S., the company has continued to prosper and grow. As you will hear, Kari has also dedicated time and resources to giving back to her community in the Twin Cities of Minnesota as well as the trucking industry – with one of those beneficiaries being the St. Christopher Truckers Relief Fund. Shannon Currier, the Director of Philanthropy for SCF, is your host for the podcast, and she covers a variety of interesting and heartwarming topics with Kari.
