One of the highlights of 2026 for PodWheels has been to have the opportunity to collaborate with The Trucker Media Group in serving as a media partner for the Transition Trucking: Driving For Excellence Award.
With the public voting period running from November 1-11 for the finalists in the Driving For Excellence Award, PodWheels wanted to place a collection of coverage we have helped to develop since the Elite 11 was announced in August. At the bottom of this page, we have provided a link to the public voting section of the Transition Trucking website.
In September, PodWheels was on hand when the Driving For Excellence Award named a record group of finalists selected by Transition Trucking’s Judges Committee from the Elite 11 semifinalists. With this page, PodWheels wanted to provide our visitors with a central spot on our website where you can learn about the five finalists who are in the running for the 2026 Driving For Excellence Award.
We invite you to click on the images listed on this post and be taken to Dedicated Pages for each of the finalists. You will be able to review all of the interviews and feature stories that PodWheels and The Trucker Media Group have developed for each of the finalists.
In fact, listed at the top of each of the Dedicated Page, you will be able to watch our follow-up interviews with each of the final five finalists. These interviews were recorded toward the end of October as we looked back with each finalist on their journey over the past year. We placed a particular focus on what they have experienced onsite at Transition Trucking’s onsite events in Ohio for the Driving For Excellence Award in September.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The Finalists for the Driving For Excellence Award have been listed on this page in alphabetical order by their respective last names.
