John Schneider joins us for an extended conversation during this episode of the podcast. As we get ready for John’s performance as part of the May 16th Highway To Hope virtual concert benefiting the work of SCF, we talked with John about his career in the entertainment industry that now spans more than 40 years. John revisits his beginnings when won the iconic role of Bo Duke in the Dukes of Hazzard TV show at age 18. We discuss his development as a writer and director in both television and film and how those efforts led to the development of John Schneider Studios. You’ll hear about John’s love for music and his growth in becoming a respected country artist who has recorded 22 albums and has registered five No. 1 hits on the country music charts. One of the highlights of the interview is the connection John has made with the trucking industry and the people behind the wheel. We’ll be talking about his latest album, Truck On, which is dedicated to the trucking industry and a portion of its sales benefits the work of SCF.
