In addition to hosting our onsite coverage of NTDC 2026 through the Official Podcast of the National Truck Driving and National Step Van Driving Championships, PodWheels Executive Producer Greg Thompson also developed a series of feature stories from Pittsburgh in his role as a Contributing Writer for The Trucker Media Group. Greg’s first story from Pittsburgh was posted on TheTrucker.com on the morning prior to the official start of NTDC 2026 with the Driver Meeting that afternoon. The August 11th feature tells the story of how Scott Meyers, a three-time State Grand Champion in North Dakota, became a mentor to David Comings, the 2025 NTDC Grand Champion. By the way, David now has two State Grand Championships in North Dakota while as part of the FedEx Freight team with Scott.
