Staff Report
PodWheels has been asked by TheTrucker.com to write a collection of feature stories that can broaden the spotlight on some of the folks who have joined us on the NTDC Podcast Series. PodWheels Executive Producer Greg Thompson has been proud to serve as a Contributing Writer for TheTrucker.com since January of this year.

Greg has contributed three feature stories covering the happenings with NTDC. The first two stories looked back at interviews that PodWheels had done with National Champions who earned their first NTDC titles in 2025. Miguel Sanchez and his NTDC 2025 victory in the Twins Class was highlighted in January, while Merle Ashbaugh’s National crown last year in the Sleeper Class was in the spotlight during February.
Our latest feature was posted by TheTrucker.com on May 14th and the story seeks to cover the first few weeks of TDC season, going from Safety Drive For Cure through the first group of State TDCs. Through the collaboration with PodWheels, the Editorial Team at TheTrucker.com included a number of links to podcast episodes and the State TDC results that PodWheels has been compiling through our outreach to State Associations across the country.
We want to take this opportunity to thank the entire team at TheTrucker.com, and we want to especially recognize the great work of Linda Garner-Bunch, who serves as the Editor for The Trucker News Group.
If you missed any of the feature stories on NTDC from the collaboration between PodWheels and TheTrucker.com, we have made them easy to access. Just click on the the links below:
